GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

A complete registration consists of two parts: using the online form for your personal information and workshop selections, and conference payment.

REGISTRATION PAYMENT AND CONFIRMATION 
Placement in workshops and final registration confirmation depend entirely on when your payment is received. Therefore, the earlier we receive your payment, the better your chances are of getting your first choices of workshops.

PAYMENT CHOICES
1. Online using a credit card on our secure Paypal site. You will receive an immediate receipt from Paypal.

CONFIRMATION
Delegates will receive confirmations of registration and payment automatically  by email.  Please check your email regularly, including your Junk or Trash folders.  Please call 519-308-3333 for inquires.

PAYMENT THROUGH A THIRD PARTY
If a third party is reimbursing you, we suggest that you pay the fees yourself and use your receipt to claim reimbursement.
If a third party (school board, company, etc.) is paying on your behalf, please

    1. take cheque processing time into account
    2. ask that the cheque be expedited
    3. ask that your name be referenced clearly on the cheque or accompanying documentation. Remember, the date of payment, not the date of registration, determines when you are placed in workshops.

OFFICIAL CONFERENCE RECEIPTS
Official CODE conference receipts will be issued at the conference only. Delegates are totally responsible for the security of their receipts. Duplicates will be issued only if an error in name or amount has been made. Receipts are issued in the name of the delegate.

OTHER PAYMENT INFORMATION
Paying by Paypal generates a receipt sent immediately by email, assuming a valid email address was used on the form.

CODE MEMBERSHIPS AND RECEIPTS
Please note that CODE Memberships MUST be current at the time of the conference to qualify for the member discount. The cost of membership is NOT included in Conference Packages.
To register as a CODE member and obtain the Current CODE Member price, visit the CODE Website. Receipts for CODE Memberships are emailed when the membership is paid online and are totally separate from the conference.

DIETARY AND PHYSICAL MOBILITY NEEDS
If you have special dietary or physical mobility requirements (not preferences), please note them on the registration form. These include food allergies and other dietary restrictions. Make yourself known to the dining room staff for all meals.

Physical mobility requirements: the resort is fully accessible.

DEADLINES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICIES
There is a limited number of available spaces for delegates, and this conference may sell out quickly. Therefore all registrations, including full payment, must be received by Friday, September 30th , 2017. Cancellations will be accepted in writing only, by notifying the registrar by Sunday, September 17th, 2017, after which date cancellations will not be accepted. Non-attendance does not constitute a cancellation. A $25 administrative fee will be assessed regardless of cancellation reason.

  • OPTION 1: Current CODE Members Early Bird**: Full conference (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday) – $290
  • OPTION 2: Non Members Early Bird: Full conference (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday) – $340

*Please note: CODE Mgmt. Board and Conference Committee members are not eligible for the Early Bird discount.

*** Full time students are registered in a post-secondary institution in a Faculty of Education or undergraduate program. Masters and Ph.D. candidates are not included as students if they are also employed by a school board.

REGULAR CONFERENCE FEES

  • OPTION 2: Non Members: Full conference (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday) – $370
  • OPTION 3: Full Time Students***: (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday – Meals are not included with this package) – $175
  • OPTION 4: CODE Mgmt. Board & Conference committee (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday): $225

ADDITIONAL COSTS – MASTER CLASSES

  • Friday, October 2:00 pm at Deerhurst $35

Full Time Student Conference (Option 3):

  • Saturday – Workshops, Keynote, Showcases, Market Place, Panel, Dance and Film Fest
  • Sunday – Workshops, AGM (Annual General Meeting), Trade Fair
