Welcome to the Claiming our Voices MarketPlace

MarketPlace Package

There is one package this year $300 for the first table, and $150 for each additional table. The MarketPlace will be held in the Legacy Hall at Deerhurst Resort.

We have made several changes for you this year so you can get the most for your time and energy:

      • The MarketPlace will be one day only. Saturday, Oct. 14, Where you will be showcased from 8:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m.
      • Set Up:  Vendors are welcome to set up Friday Oct.13, 8 :00 0.p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and/ or Saturday Oct.14, 7:00 a.m.
      • We are encouraging all of you to bring something our delegates can buy/ purchase for themselves, their school, their class room or their students. We will remind them to bring purchasing cards and get permissions from principals and budget secretaries to buy from you
      • We will hopefully serve lunch in the actual Marketplace and provide you an opportunity to address the delegates directly as our MarketPlace Co-ordinator will come to you with microphone in hand to explain to all who you are, what you do and what you are offering them
      • Ask you for a short video of your business, company, products, offers etc and place it on USB. We will run this on loop throughout key areas of the conference to remind delegates of you and what you have to offer
      • Bringing back our Passport for Prizes – Delegates receive a sticker from you to fill their passports. Once filled they receive draw tickets for fabulous prizes
      • Encourage you to bring your families, partners and children as Deerhurst is a beautiful place with many activities. We will also invite you and yours to participate in our Family Voices Program running throughout the weekend to see great movies, hear some great stories, some fun drama dance activities and a pajama party!

      As MarketPlace Members you will receive:

      • A spot in our conference program given to all delegates
      • One table 6’ draped table and two chairs
      • One gourmet lunch (Additional meals, including breakfast and dinner, can be purchased at the time of registration)
      • Coffee, tea and snacks throughout the day
      • Wifi and electricity
      • Your flyers/ print advertising will be stuffed into all CODE Delegate conference bags


We are holding one draw this year through Passports for Prizes at our Gala Dinner. We’d love all MarketPlace vendors to donate something that our Arts Educators can use for themselves, their school, their classroom or their students. Donated items will be clearly marked with the sponsor’s name and announced live. This is a fabulous opportunity to make a donation to support arts programs in a high profile fashion.


If you wish to stay Friday or Saturday night, you are welcome to take advantage of the conference room rates. We would love for you to join us and enjoy beautiful Deerhurst Resort, but also made the MarketPlace only one day in order to provide the option to save on accommodation if you prefer.
